Terms of use
These terms are an agreement between you and Pertina AI (“Pertina”, “we”) about using CalmFit. By creating an account or using the app you agree to them. Please also read our privacy policy.
1. What CalmFit is
CalmFit helps you plan meals, log what you eat and how you feel, track progress and talk to an AI coach. It offers general food and fitness guidance.
2. Not medical advice
- CalmFit is not a medical service and does not diagnose, treat or prescribe. It is not a substitute for your doctor.
- If you take medicine, CalmFit only records what you enter from your prescription. It never recommends, changes or judges a dose. Ask your doctor or pharmacist about doses and side effects.
- If you have severe symptoms, such as severe stomach pain, vomiting that will not stop, or signs of an allergic reaction, get medical help immediately.
- Check with your doctor before starting a new diet or exercise plan, especially if you are pregnant, have a medical condition, or have had an eating disorder.
3. AI answers can be wrong
The coach uses AI models. Its answers and its estimates (for example calories from a photo) can be inaccurate or incomplete. Use your own judgement and correct entries when they are wrong.
4. Your account
- You must be 18 or older.
- Keep your sign-in secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- The information you enter should be about you. Do not enter other people’s personal information.
5. Acceptable use
Do not misuse CalmFit: no attempts to break or overload the service, to access other people’s data, to extract the AI’s instructions, or to use the app for anything unlawful. We may limit or suspend accounts that do.
6. Your content
You own what you enter. You give us permission to store and process it only to provide CalmFit to you, as described in the privacy policy. You can export or delete it at any time.
7. Changes and availability
We are improving CalmFit and may change or stop features. We will tell you in the app before changes that materially affect you. The service may sometimes be unavailable.
8. Limits on our responsibility
CalmFit is provided “as is”. To the extent the law allows, Pertina is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for decisions you make based on the app’s guidance. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be limited.
9. Ending
You can stop using CalmFit and delete your account at any time in the app. We may close accounts that break these terms, and will tell you why where we can.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Pune, Maharashtra have jurisdiction, subject to any rights you have to bring a claim where you live.
